Sadly Neglected

That is what this blog is. There just don't seem to be enough hours in the day, and I haven't done much along the crafty lines.

I did get the alpaca fiber out of the plastic bags. What a real relief! I was worried about moths, for starters. I have heard that they can eat through the plastic bags, but will leave paper bags alone. I hope that is true. All the fleece is in paper grocery bags now. It took 4 bags for each plastic bag of fleece. I folded the tops down twice and paper clipped each one with 3 large paper clips. I hope it is sufficient? The weather is getting a tad bit cooler---hahahahaha. It is in the lower 80's for a couple of days, but the forecast has it back up into the high 80's by Wednesday. Still, it will get a bit cooler, and will be more comfortable for washing the fleece.

I want to start knitting again, so that is a good thing. I think there is still a bit too much going on right this moment, with another trip to the Mayo this week. Perhaps after that, I can get started.

Meanwhile, I at least think crafty things, so that is better than nothing, is that right?

I am reading more, a good series of books. I think I am going to have to read all the Anne Rice books and the Terry Pratchett books too. However, I need a slight break from engrossing books, so I can get things done--haha. The house still needs work, and if Brian's are able to come for Christmas, the house has to be ready for Michelle. It makes a lovely excuse and need for getting things done, doesn't it?

I hope to get back to this soon with progress of any kind to report!
